The automation control system of Rizhao 1580 hot strip mill

The structure and effect of the computer control system for Rizhao Iron and Steel Co.1 580 mm hot strip mill were introduced.Lots of advanced function,such as the auto-width control(AWC) and short stroke control(SSC) for edger mill,the auto gauge control(AGC) for rougher and finisher mill,the coiling control and mandrel transfer for the newest generation hot strip coilbox,the hydraulic looper control system,auto shape control system,coiling temperature control(CTC) system,auto jump control(AJC) for wrapper rolls,were developed.The quality and performance of product line were highly improved.Simultaneously level 2.5(production control) system with slab depot,coil depot and grind house manage function was also provided.So the production organization and factory manage could be assured.
