Bifurcation and chaos identification on the rubbing rotor

  • The nonlinear characteristics of the lateral vibration of a rub-impact Jeffcott rotor were investigated.Based on the theory of phase space reconstruction,the estimations of the embedding delay and dimension were studied,and the reconstructions of the bifurcation and chaos of the rubbing rotor were completed according to the results of numerical simulation.Then the correlation dimensions of the bifurcation and chaos were estimated.
