Minimum Lifting Water Velocity of Solid-Liquid Two-phase Flow in Vertical Pipe

  • On the basis of studying the ratio of particle diameter/pipe diameter, turbulence intensity and multi-particle concentration, which influence critical Reynold's number of solid-liquid two-phose flow in vertical pipe, the resulted showed that sharp drop of drag coefficient and higher of particle sinking velocity were presented. In end, a minimum lifting water velocity was given for engineering design.
