  • After the study of the scientific and technological input-output relations among economic sections in Baotou District, 1992 Science & Technology Input-output Model of Baotou city was set up by seperating the net value inputs using the production function. This model determined not only the output of the scientific and technological department, but also its contribution to each economic section through the assets, work object and labor factors. Based on this model, It can be quantitatively calculated the impacts of science and technology development on each section output, the level of the development itself, the interrelations between each department and the development, and the tendency of the science and technology investment. etc.
