Mathematical Model on Flow Stress of Aluminium Alloys in Hot Plastic Deformation

  • Using cam-type compression testing machine, four kinds of aluminium-alloy materials are tested in hot process at constant strain rate. The affects of strain, strain rate and deformation temperature on flow stress are analysed. By regressing,comparing and analysing various form of mathematical models of flow stress, one model with higher calculation accuracy, simpler form and more suitable for on-line computer control and engineering calculation is determined.
