A Simple and Convenient Method of Boundary Element Analysis for the Problems of Thin Plate Vibration

  • A simple and convenient method is presented, which can deal with free vibration of thin plates with internal supports or concentrated masses. This is boundary element method which deal with internal integral terms. Based on the foundamental solution of the corresponding complate equation, this method can make the internal to integral to become the bounary integral. Some examples are calculated and the results indicate that the method presented here has better precision in actual engineering.
