Study of the rheological characteristics of copper tailings and calculation of resistance in pipeline transportation

摘要: 流變參數是管道輸送系統設計的基礎,采用RST-SST型軟固體流變儀進行尾礦漿體流變特性試驗,確定了不同固相質量分數下尾礦漿體的屈服應力、黏度系數.當漿體固相質量分數大于70%后,屈服應力會隨著固相含量的增加而顯著上升.對礦漿進行剪切變稀試驗發現,屈服應力可下降40.9%.針對不同尾礦漿體開展標準坍落度試驗,當固相質量分數小于74%時,尾礦漿具有良好的流動性及較大的坍落度.利用得到的尾礦漿體的流變特性參數,進行了臨界流速、摩阻損失的計算,為尾礦管道輸送系統設計提供參考.Abstract: Rheological characteristics are fundamental to pipeline system design. Rheological tests were conducted to obtain the yield stress and viscosity index at different mass fractions. Slump tests were conducted to investigate the mobility of tailings slurry. Results show that the yield stress increases with the increase of mass fraction, especially when mass fraction is greater than 70%. After stirring in a high-speed activation stirrer, the yield stress in 70% mass fraction is decreased by 40.9%. When the mass fractions are lower than 74%, high slump values are obtained. Based on the basic parameters obtained in the rheological tests, the key parameters of the pipeline system were calculated, including the critical flow rate and frictional resistance loss. These analyses results could serve as references for pipeline system design.
