Analysis on the fracture failure in crack interaction of mortar using the phase-field method

摘要: 提出一種新的基于相場法的砂漿斷裂力學分析方法,對裂紋相互作用導致的砂漿試件失效行為進行模擬分析.采用非保守Allen-Cahn方程作為控制方程,借助COMSOL有限元分析軟件,將線彈性力場和相場整合為統一的有限元模型,對砂漿中裂紋發展和相互作用進行模擬分析.通過砂漿三點彎曲試驗和直拉試驗,測試砂漿裂紋擴展過程.模擬結果與試驗結果的對比分析表明,砂漿試件裂紋相互作用臨界荷載的模擬計算結果與試驗結果非常吻合.研究結果表明,Ⅱ型試件斷裂破壞會產生更長的裂縫路徑.Abstract: This article introduces a new mortar fracture analysis method based on the phase-field method,which is used to analyze the fracture failure in crack interaction of mortar.The non-conserved Allen-Cahn equation was adopted as the system governing equation to study the crack development and interaction in mortar.Both the linear elasticity and phase-field equations were solved in a unified finite element frame work,which was implemented in the commercial software COMSOL.Direct tension test and three-point bending test were performed for validation.It is discovered that the critical load of crack interaction by the phase-field method agrees very well with the experimental results.Research results show that Mode Ⅱ specimen tends to have a longer crack path.
