Deoxidation in molten steel by liquefied petroleum gas

摘要: 在實驗室利用石油液化氣對鋼中氧進行去除.研究結果表明:利用石油液化氣對鋼液脫氧是可行的,配合VD真空冶煉,可用于生產高碳、高質量潔凈鋼.鋼液脫氧時,通入氬氣和液化氣兩者的混合氣體的脫氧效果優于單純通入單一氣體,鋼中氧含量下降更明顯,碳含量增加幅度更低.混合氣體對鋼液脫氧操作8 min后,鋼中脫氧減慢,氧含量下降不明顯.鋼液脫氧的起始階段,鋼中碳含量增加較為緩慢,當鋼中氧含量降低到一定水平后,鋼中碳含量迅速增加.通入氬氣,加強了鋼液攪拌,在一定程度上抑制鋼中氫含量的增加速度,促進了鋼中氫的去除.Abstract: Oxygen in molten steel was removed with liquefied petroleum gas in laboratory. The results show that it is feasible to use liquefied petroleum gas for deoxidation in molten steel to produce high-carbon and high-quality clean steel with VD vacuum smelting assistance. The deoxidation rate is faster with a mixed gas of argon and liquefied petroleum gas than just using a single gas, the oxygen content decreases more significantly and the rate of increase of the carbon content declines. After deoxidation for 8 min, the velocity of deoxidation decreases, and the oxygen content has no significant declination. At the beginning of deoxidation, the carbon content increases slowly; however, while the oxygen content decreases to a certain level the carbon content rapidly increases. Argon does have effect on stirring molten steel, and lead to having a good dynamic condition to facilitate the removal of hydrogen in molten steel.
