Corrosion resistance performance of molybdenum-containing weathering steel

摘要: 通過顯微組織觀察、周浸加速腐蝕實驗、銹層微觀分析、銹層交流阻抗特征分析等方法,研究了合金元素鉬含量對耐候鋼腐蝕性能的影響.合金元素鉬可以促進鋼中貝氏體組織的形成,促使銹層更加致密,對鋼基體具有更好的保護性,有利于提高鋼的耐腐蝕性能.隨著鋼中鉬含量的增加,實驗鋼銹層的腐蝕電位正移,自腐蝕電流密度減小,銹層的陽極溶解反應受到明顯阻礙,銹層具有更好的保護性.Abstract: The effect of the content of molybdenum as an alloying element on the corrosion resistance performance of weathering steel was investigated by microstructure observation, cycle immersion corrosion test, rust layer micro-analysis and electrochemical impedance spectra techniques. It is found that molybdenum can promote the formation of bainite in the steel and the rust layer denser. The rust layer has a better protection on the steel substrate and increases the corrosion resistance of the steel. With the increasing of molybdenum content in the steel, the corrosion potential of the rust layer on the steel shifts positively, the self-corrosion current density decreases, the anodic dissolution of the rust layer is impeded, which makes the rust layer better protective.
