Comparison of laboratory accelerated weathering tests for organic coatings

摘要: 研究了丙烯酸聚氨酯清漆涂層在熒光紫外UVA輻照/凝露和氙燈輻照/雨淋兩種加速實驗程序下的物理、化學性能和防護屏障性與暴露時間的關系.結果表明:氙燈輻照/雨淋對涂層的膜厚損失、失光率的影響程度略大于同周期UVA加速的效果;而黃色指數及不同暴露周期的完整涂層的低頻阻抗模值與暴露時間的關系則與FTIR反映的羰基指數的變化規律較為一致,顯示UVA加速涂層老化的效果大于同周期氙燈加速效果.且在兩種加速條件下,完整涂層的低頻阻抗模值均與暴露時間呈指數規律衰減,表現出較好的時間函數關系;說明EIS的低頻阻抗模值與UV光輻射產生的涂層性能的變化有一定的相關性,并很好地反映其防護屏障性,可作為有效的監測參量用于建立室內外老化實驗的相關性,預測光老化涂層的防護壽命.Abstract: Acrylic polyurethane varnish coatings were exposed in two artificial weathering environments produced by a fluorescent UV/eondensation weathering device and a xenon lamp light exposure/weathering equipment for different periods of time. The results showed that the xenon exposure program affected the thickness loss and gloss loss more seriously than the UV/condensation. However, yellow index measurements and low frequency impedance revealed that a greater degradation was caused by the UV/condensation, which was in agreement with the result obtained from FTIR analysis. In the two accelerated weathering environments, the low frequency impedance modulus of intact coatings decreased exponentially with the increase in ageing time, and correlated with the changes in other properties of ageing coatings. It can be used to predict the lifetime of the coatings.
