Thermo-mechanical coupling analysis in the dieless drawing process of NiTi shape memory alloy wires

摘要: 結合所研制的連續式無模拉拔加工設備的實際情況,利用DEFORM有限元軟件建立了加工過程的熱力耦合有限元分析模型,開展了NiTi合金線材無模拉拔加工過程的熱力耦合模擬研究,獲得了線材無模拉拔加工過程的溫度場和應力場的分布規律,以及冷熱源距離、冷卻水流量及拉拔速度對成品線徑的影響規律.通過實驗驗證了模擬結果的正確性.Abstract: A thermo-mechanical finite element model was established for the developed continuous dieless drawing process equipment by using DEFORM finite element software. The temperature field and stress field in the continuous dieless drawing process of NiTi shape memory alloy wires were analyzed through the thermo-mechanical coupling simulation. The effects of distance between heater and cooler, cooling water flow-rate and drawing speed on the diameter of wires were investigated. The results were well consistent with the experimental ones.
