AQM controller design based on LMI approach

摘要: 研究了因特網擁塞控制中的魯棒主動隊列管理(AQM)控制器設計問題.基于Internet傳輸控制協議(TCP)擁塞避免機制的線性模型,根據AQM的設計要求,首先將此問題轉化為魯棒鎮定問題;然后利用線性矩陣不等式(LMI)方法得出了動態輸出反饋控制器存在的充分條件,并給出了相應的設計方法.最后,給出了控制器設計的算例并進行了仿真.仿真結果表明所得出的控制器是可行和有效的,它不僅對全部網絡參數魯棒而且過渡時間短.Abstract: This paper studied the problem of robust active queue management (AQM) controller design in Internet congestion control. The problem was first reduced to a robust stabilization one based on the linear model of transmission control protocol (TCP) and the AQM design objectives. A sufficient existence condition of the output feedback controller was then obtained and its design method was provided using linear matrix inequality (LMI) approach. Finally, a design example was given and the simulation was performed. The simulated results show that the proposed controller is feasible and valid for it possesses not only robustness for all the network parameters but fast settling process.
