A method of tracking a moving object in video sequences

摘要: 提出了一種跟蹤視頻圖像序列中運動目標的新方法．該方法利用一種基于動態信息窗口的自適應背景更新方法解決背景的復雜性問題,結合一種新的計算顏色模型解決運動陰影問題,從而得到具有精確邊緣的特定運動目標．計算了運動目標灰度質心,在坐標系中記錄其位置,并采用最小二乘法擬合實現了對運動目標的跟蹤．實驗結果表明這種方法能有效地跟蹤并預測視頻序列中的運動目標．Abstract: A novel method of tracking a moving object in video sequences was presented. Adaptive background updating based on dynamic information window was used to solve the problem of complicated background, and a novel color model was used to dispel motion shadow. A given moving object with accurate edge was obtained, The centroid of the moving object was calculated and the coordinates were established. The method of 2-stage least squares was adopted to implement tracking the moving object. The results showed that the presented method was promising to track and forecast the motion of a moving object in video sequences.
