Physical property effect of powder on thermal spraying coatings

摘要: 在SUS316L不銹鋼基體上,采用HVOF和DGS兩種不同的工藝方法,分別噴涂WC-12Co和FeAl涂層,觀察WC-12Co和FeAl粉末的顆粒形貌、粒度組成以及DTA,研究它們對熱噴涂涂層質量的影響.通過表面粗糙度、顯微硬度、形貌相以及X射線衍射譜等分析表明,球化程度高,顆粒大小均勻的粉末可使涂層的組織均勻,致密性好,結合強度高.采用HVOF方法噴涂WC-12Co涂層的質量最好,而采用DGS工藝噴涂FeAl涂層的工藝參數還有待于進一步優化.Abstract: WC-12Co and FeAl powders were sprayed on SUS316L stainless steel matrix by HVOF or DGS process respectively. The particle morphology, the grain size distribution and the DTA curve were investigated and the corresponding effects on the quality of spraying coatings were discussed. The results from the measurements of surface roughness and microhardness and the observations of coating morphology and X-ray diffractometry indicated that highly spheroidised and homogeneous powders lead to homogeneous microstructure, good compactness and strong bonding between the coating and the matrix. From the present experiment it can be concluded that quality of WC-12Co coating deposited by HVOF is the best, but the processing parameters of FeAl coating deposited by DGS need to be optimized further.
