Solute activity change model of binary liquid alloys in electrical field

摘要: 通過對Cu-0.2%Al合金施加直流、交流和脈沖電場發現,Cu液中溶質Al的活度系數隨電場強度的增加,呈不同程度的減小趨勢.為了進一步研究溶質Al的活度減小的原因,對Al-5%Cu合金在熔融狀態下進行了液態淬火.通過淬火后的金相組織觀察發現,電場作用下液態金屬的結構發生了明顯的變化,溶質在合金溶液中的分布發生了沿某一個方向聚集的現象.從而揭示了電場作用下二元系合金中溶質活度變化的本質,并在此基礎上建立了電場作用下二元系合金中溶質活度變化的理論模型.Abstract: The activity coefficient of Al in molten Cu decreases with the increasing of electric current which is applied to the liquid alloy of Cu-0.2%Al. To further investigate the mechanism, the quenching experiment of the liquid Al-Cu alloy was conducted. The results show that there is a remarkable change in structure, in which the solute congregates along the direction of the current especially for DC current. The activity coefficient change mechanism of Al in molten Cu-0.2%Al alloy treated by electrical field was discussed. On the basis of this result, a model of the change in solute activity in the liquid alloy treated by electrical field was proposed.
