Influence of EPM on the Solidification Structures of 09CuPCrNi Steel Billets

摘要: 在鞍鋼工業生產中進行了利用電脈沖孕育技術改善和細化連鑄坯凝固組織的探索性實驗研究,實驗鋼種為09CuPCrNi,連鑄坯的尺寸規格為150mm×150mm,實驗結果表明,在連鑄中間罐內對09CuPCrNi鋼水進行電脈沖孕育處理可以明顯細化連鑄坯的凝固組織,與未經電脈沖孕育處理的連鑄坯相比,經電脈沖孕育處理后,連鑄坯的柱狀晶長度明顯縮短,一次枝晶臂間距明顯減小;連鑄坯的中心等軸晶區擴大,中心縮孔得到明顯改善,軋材性能達到了技術要求。Abstract: Industrial research for improving the solidification structures of billets with the Electric Pulse Modification (EPM) technology was carried out in Anshan Iron and Steel Group Company. The experimental steel is 09CuPCrNi. The billet size is 150 mm×150 mm. Experimental results show that the solidification structure of the billet was fined obviously by applying electric pulse on the molten steel in tundish. The length of columnar dendrite and the space of primary dendrite of the billet with EPM treatment is much smaller than that of the untreated billet. The zone of the equiaxed grain in the center of the billet is increased. The central shrinkage cavity was eliminated. The mechanical properties of the finished product satisfy the technical standards.
