A Improved Subpixel Edge Detecting Algorithm Based on Polynomial Interpolation

摘要: 介紹了一種基于多項式插值法的改進的亞像素細分算法及相應計算模板和公式,并對算法的誤差進行了分析.本算法應用在經典Sobel算子基礎上構造出的方向模板,對灰度圖像進行處理,得到梯度圖像,然后在梯度圖像上沿目標邊緣的梯度方向進行多項式插值法亞像素細分計算,對目標邊緣進行亞像素精確定位.實例說明本算法是可行的.Abstract: A improved subpixel edge detecting algorithm based on polynomial interpolation, masks and calculating formulae is introduced, the error cause of the operator is analyzed, and the error formula is derived. The algorithm uses direction masks based on classical Sobel masks in converting gray into gradient images and applies the polynomial interpolation to subpixel edge detecting at the gradient direction of edge on gradient images. Some examples are presented to demonstrate the effectiveness of the method.
