Numerical Simulation of Fluid Flow in Continuous Slab-Casting Mold

摘要: 以寶鋼一連鑄板坯結晶器為研究對象,采用大型商業軟件CFX4.3,將模擬計算出的浸入式水口的出口速度直接賦給結晶器作為入口條件,計算了結晶器內鋼液的流動情況.結果表明:速度矢量在水口出口截面分布不均勻、方向與水口傾角不一致.因此,有必要將水口計算結果與結晶器模型結合起來以更好地反映鋼液的流動情況.Abstract: The commercial code CFX4.3 was applied to simulate fluid flow in the mold of No.l continuous slab-casting machine in BaoSteel. The simulated velocity vector at the nozzle outlet ports was used as inlet boundary conditions of the mold. Results indicated that the velocity vector was not evenly distributed at the nozzle outlets and its direction may not be consistent with the ports. For this reason, it was necessary to connect the nozzle simulation results with the mold model to better reflect the real flow field.
