Structure and Growth Mechanism of High-quality Tetrapod-like ZnO Whiskers

摘要: 用鋅粉氧化的方法,通過控制反應器內的氣相過飽和度,合成出純度高、晶體結構完整、尺度可控的四針狀氧化鋅晶須(T-ZnO晶須).制備的T-ZnO晶須為長尾晶須,針長為5~30 μm,針體的根部尺寸為1~2μm,尾部約100nm.晶須的生長機理為氣-固(VS)機理.控制反應器內的反應氣相過飽和度是制備高品質T-ZnO晶須的關鍵因素.Abstract: The tetrapod-like ZnO whiskers were synthesized by oxidation of the Zn powders. High purity and perfect crystalline T-ZnO whiskers with different sizes were obtained by controlling gas supersaturation in the reaction container. The length of legs of the whiskers is approximately 5-30 jim and the geometrical edge size of centering nucleus is approximately 1-2 μm. Especially, the whiskers had long tail about 100nm. The whiskers grew via Vapor-Solid mechanism. Gas supersaturation in the reaction container is the key to prepare high-quality T-ZnO whiskers.
