Microstructure of Al Matrix Composites Strengthened by Combined In-Situ Alloying Elements and In-Situ Alumina Particulate Strengthening

摘要: 制備了Al2O3/Al-Cu和Al2O3/Al-Cu-Si原位復合材料,采用SEM觀察顯微組織,XRD分析物相,EDS分析相所含元素.初步結果表明,原位合金化和原位顆粒共同強化金屬基體是可行的,合金元素Cu和Si出現在基體中,細小增強顆粒Al2O3呈彌散分布.Abstract: Al2O3/Al-Cu and Al2O3/Al-Cu-Si composites are fabricated from in-situ reaction Al+CuO and Al+CuO+SiO2 respectively. SEM observation of the morphologies of the materials, XRD analysis of the phases, and EDS analysis of elements in the phases are performed. Primilinary results show that alloy elements Cu and Si are presented as predicted, as well as fine and homogeneously distributed Al2O3 particles formed, which indicate that the newly developed concept is feasible.
