Research on Producing Stainless Steel Containing Nitrogen Element with Plasma

摘要: 在敞口鎂砂坩堝內,采用金屬水冷非轉移弧和石墨轉移弧等離子體,以氮、氬、氧等混合氣體為氮合金化元素,冶煉含氮的鉻錳鎳合金和不銹鋼。在30min內,不銹鋼中含氮達0.15%~0.30%,代鎳可達2%~6%。分析鋼液氮合金化的熱力學、動力學條件,研究化學吸附和電吸附氮的現象,提出了強化擴散和對流擴散,加速鋼液吸氮速度,提高鋼液氮含量的工藝條件。Abstract: The non-transfer metallic plasma torch and graphitic transfer injectors are used in producing nitrogen bearing stainless steel. Mixed nitrogen-argon-oxygen gas is adopted as plasma gas and alloying elements. It has been concluded that it is possible to smelt Cr-Mn-Ni steel with reproduceable nitrogen content of 0.15% to 0.3% in 30 min.The thermodynamic and kinetic conditions which affect nitrogen alloying of liquid steel are strdied,and the chemical and electric absorption phenomena are also investigated.The process conditions of strengthening diffusion and convection mass transfer are proposed to accelerate nitrogen absorption and increase nitrogen content of liquid steel.
