Improvement on Structure and Property of White Cast Irons Through Plastic Deformation and Heat-Treatment Technology

摘要: 大于2.11%C的白口鑄鐵中含有大塊且又分布不均勻的滲碳體,其塑性和韌性很差。本文采用塑性變形及熱處理等4種方法,最終得到了細小碳化物均勻分布在鐵素體基體上的理想組織。具有這種球化組織的鑄鐵,強韌性有了提高,且在650~850℃溫度范圍變形表現出良好的超塑特性。Abstract: White Cast irons that contain amount of massive cementite show poor plasticity and toughness, which limited their wide applications in industry. Four methods of plastic deformation and heat-treatment were adopted in this paper to improve cementite's bad morphology and distribution. An ideal structure of fine cementite particle distributing within the matrix of ferrite was obtained. The refined structure white cast iron is of excellent superpla- sticity at the range from 650 to 350℃, and its room temperature mechanical properties also have a great improvement. This kind of white cast iron can be used as wear-resistant die material.
