Abstract:
With the gradual application of duplex stainless steel in the oil and gas industry, the application of offshore oil and gas fields and acid service conditions has increased, and the failure risk of duplex stainless steel in hydrogen environment has gradually increased. The introduction of hydrogen will have a significant impact on duplex stainless steels, in addition to causing corrosion properties and microstructure changes, duplex stainless steels will inevitably suffer from hydrogen damage, including hydrogen embrittlement, hydrogen cracking, etc. This paper reviews the research status of the effect of hydrogen on duplex stainless steel, aiming to provide guidance for the application of duplex stainless steel oil and gas industry in hydrogen environment, and looks forward to the development trend of duplex stainless steel research in hydrogen environment: the corrosion behavior problem has basically reached a consensus, and it is necessary to improve and develop a new hydrogen damage theoretical model, and combine modern analysis technology and theoretical calculation simulation.
