Abstract:
Laser-induced breakdown spectroscopy (LIBS) is a multielement analysis method based on atomic emission spectroscopy, which has the advantages of fast, no complicated sample preparation and remote analysis. However, due to the complexity and diversity of the chemical composition of ore and metallurgical samples, as well as interference signals, the accuracy of LIBS quantitative analysis is affected. In this paper, three signal enhancement methods of LIBS in the field of mining and metallurgy are reviewed, which are double pulse, nano particle enhancement and space constraint, and three spectral preprocessing methods of noise reduction, normalization and self-absorption correction. In addition, this paper briefly summarizes the application of five LIBS qualitative analysis
