連鑄中間包內部結構優化的數理模擬及冶金效果

Numerical and physical simulation on inner structure optimization of a continuous casting tundish and its metallurgical effect

  • 摘要: 通過中間包水模型實驗和數值模擬對4流中間包兩種控流裝置下包內流場進行了模擬研究.結果表明:原中間包內由于形成了短路流使得鋼液在中部水口的停留時間短,與邊部水口的停留時間相差大.改進型中間包能均勻鋼液在不同水口的停留時間,減小中間包的死區比例,提高夾雜物的去除率.工業實驗表明與原中間包相比,使用改進型中間包鑄坯中的大型夾雜物含量和顯微夾雜物數量分別降低44.9%和2.7%.

     

    Abstract: The fluid flow of four-strand tundishes under two different control devices was studied by water model experiments and numerical simulation. The results show that the formation of short-circuit flow in the original tundish makes liquid steel have short residence time in the middle outlet, and have large difference of residence time compared with the edge outlet. The improved tundish can homogenize the residence time of molten steel between different outlets, decrease the dead volume fraction, and increase the removal rate of inclusions. The plant trial shows that the macroinclusion content and the microinclusion number in billet decrease by 44.9% and 2.7%, respectively, compared with those of the original tundish.
