連鑄結晶器內鋼液彎月面區域速度場的測定

Measurement of Velocity Field in Meniscus Zone in Mold of Continuous Caster

  • 摘要: 在自行設計的可以實現振動、水冷及拉坯的連鑄模擬裝置上,分別用低熔點Pb-Sn-Bi合金和硅油模擬鋼液和保護渣,對連鑄結晶器內彎月面區域液態金屬的速度場進行了實驗研究.研究結果表明:在結晶器的正滑脫期內,彎月面處的液態金屬向靠近結晶器壁的方向運動;在負滑脫期內,其運動方向相反.拉速提高時,正滑脫期內彎月面區域液態金屬的速度減小,而負滑脫期內彎月面區域液態金屬的速度增大.電磁場對彎月面區域液態金屬的運動速度有所抑制.

     

    Abstract: Velocity field in meniscus zone in mold is studied on the c. c. simulator. Low melting point Pb-Sn-Bi alloy and silicon oil are adopted as simulators of molten steel and slag,respectively. It is shown that the liquid metal in meniscus zone flows toward the mold wall during the positive-strip period and flows away from the mold wall during the negative-strip period. It is also found that the flow velocity at meniscus increases during the positive-strip period and decreases during the negative-strip period at higher casting speed.
