Abstract: The development and achievements are reviewed in the use of mathematical models and computer techniques in mine planning and production scheduling.An integrated and interactive approach to computer aided production scheduling systems is presented.As an application of the approach,the implementing features of a computer aided production scheduling system for underground coal mines are discussed.
